There is a high level of trust across society, including extremely low to levels of historical corruption in the Danish government. It also considered to be one of the most tolerant countries and was the first to allow same sex partnerships.

The profile of Danish cuisine has risen dramatically in recent years and is now referred to as “New Nordic Cuisine”, whereby traditional ingredients and recipes are reimagined for today’s decerning diners. Copenhagen based Restaurant Noma has ranked No.1 in the “World’s 50 Best Restaurants” competition for 5 consecutive years. In total, Danish restaurants have been awarded an incredible 35 Michelin Stars.
